Would you like to join our growing team? It is simple, straight forward and easy to join. There are a few requirements in our process. First, you must be of age of 16 years or older to join WestJet Virtual. We feel that everyone should have an equal opportunity to participate in having fun, so we haven't made it difficult to become a part of our team. WestJet Virtual Airlines is a adult community and we continuously strives to become a virtual airline that is exciting, inspiring and just plain comfortable to fly with. We like everyone in our virtual airline to actively take part, and we hope you do the same. Building a solid team that wants to accumulate hours and add to the rich environment we create, especially on VATSIM, is no easy task. Along with your help, it is possible to achieve this goal. Although WestJet Virtual dose not require you to fly on VATSIM, we encourage you to give it a try. If your not yet a member of Vatsim—before you apply at WestJet Virtual Airline go to VATSIM.net and grab a unique ID. It is now required for signing up, but you are not required to fly online. One other note to keep in mind it is required for you to fly your first (1st.) Flight either on the VATSIM , SimMiles, or Virtual Skies networks within seven (7) days of joining and 3 flights every thirty (30) days there after. Our roster is expanding but we like to keep it as efficient as possible for our loyal members. That said, we give the proverbial "boot" to members who haven't been able to fly within their first seven (7) days, or 3 flights every thirty (30) days. Of course, if this happens to you for some reason, don't fret. Just re-apply and we'll put you back on the roster.
